I thought that the answer was drunk rednecks (was parked in a field for three years after the previous owner’s death). But then I found out the previous owner was also a gun collector - so maybe he shot it up for some reason?

Who knows. Several of the cars in the field had bullet holes in them. Maybe somebody was a rageaholic and dead cars were easy targets for letting off steam.

Still, damn mad at whoever it was because those windshields are rare.
